uniform: no background selector in a specific forum

hello,

In my board i have a specific section that have a particular background. is it possible to remove the background selection and force a particular background only in 1 section ?
To better understand here is an example:
my forum:

the section which has a fixed background:

I'm not good enough with JavaScript to be able to do this. Ultimately you would need a script that changes the body background property when the forum is on that specific section, and that's quite tricky (or at least I would think so).

what about installing uniform twice, remove the selector in one of them, change its background to the wished one and apply it to the specific forum ?

That sounds like a workable solution!

You'd have to remove all the background selector stuff from the second version though as otherwise it will inherit the settings from the cookies.

will it inherit the settings even if i name the second style differently ?
otherwise how easy it is to remove all the selector stuff ?

That's not too hard. It requires removing a line from the breadcrumb template file and you'd have to remove the relevant CSS in EXTRA.css (the body .bg1, etc).
