I see your point. It's super easy to remove the second border + background. It can be done in literally 10 seconds.

If you chose to buy the skin, I would do that for you in seconds .

also i pitched in some suggestion for thread views although this is my preference not sure about the othershere, the layout of the thread view, the collor may be wrong but thats not the point, it can be changed to other

and please enough with the ipb similarity, no one should care how similar it looks, as long as it look nicer than before that is all it shoudl matter

It's coming together nicely Graeme but it needs that "wow" factor or the "umph" as I like to call it.
Maybe add some fancy menu rollovers.

Trying out a different menu system. So at the moment the top is like this:

Just need to make the main nav and sub menu look right now . Might do something similar to this site to keep things clean (it works nicely).
