Custom Node Icon

Hello!
I recently bought the SnapShot skin, and wanted to change the custom node icons. I can't figure out to do this. I have enabled custom node icons via the control panel and I uploaded a 36x36 icon in the "Nodes" folder of Xenfocus. I have named this icon "nodeIcon". But it doesn't show up. The icons become blank, but some have an empty notebook.

Am I naming it wrong? And why do half of them show up empty and the other half show up as a notebook?

It was made for platform, but the same process applies for snapshot

Have you purchased the theme? If not, you'll need to remove it from your site.

oh, I'm an administrator of a site with one of your themes but I'm not the owner who purchased all the software
