I corrected that this morning, but it's still only removing the header image.
(I'd previously tested it with an image and got the same result. When I saw it wasn't working, I reverted to the normal setup. Once I posted this question, I re-added the recommended lines to extra.less but forgot to point them to my image. Fixed that now, but still no joy.)
Edit: Got it figured out. The xenfocus folder isn't in /styles/. It's in /data/styles/2/styles/
