I'm currently trying to figure out the best way to provide discounts (paypal doesn't offer coupon codes so it'll need to be done manually somehow). Suggestions welcome if anyone has some!

The MicroCart addon for xF allows this. It's a store product similar to what IP.Nexus is. It allows for purchasing goods and such. My friend Russ of PixelExit uses it at his site. When you go to the cart screen to checkout there is an option to add a coupon code.

Hi Ehren,

One more thing about the new skin and perhaps some upcoming ones too:

usergroupbanner_1point2.jpg
Don't know why, I don't like this XF default usergroup banner.:) I am not sure how to make it better looking though, well, at least the text alignment should be consistent with the text above it? And the shape of the banner, how to make it look more elegant? Can't figure it out...

Maybe you can give it a refreshing design? I know it is a small element, but details, sometimes really matter a lot to the general impression for a site...

I was about to recommend the same addon. I recently purchased xF skins from Russ/PixelExit (which they are using microcart), I find that the purchase process and interface are very easy and simple. Perhaps you can take a look at it, you are allowed a 15 days trial for the addon if I am not wrong.

I also came across a storefront that has been used in a few xF addon/style sites. But I couldn't find the exact link to the addon. It's a little similar to the IPB's Nexus client area style. I am only able to find the Copyright line though haha! "Storefront by David Hernandez ©2012 XenFluence.com". Have a check at this http://addons.nfljunkies.com/store/

Aren't themes delivered digitally by PayPal IPN? I don't recall it took me this many hours the last time I purchased a theme. I ordered it at 7 PM, it's now 12 AM. Guess I'll have to wait up to 24 hours for a digital item to be delivered digitally.

Thanks for the suggestion Shyuan, I'll take a look later (it currently says server not found).

I'm really not impressed with the design of microcart, so I will need to heavily modify the templates if I decide to use it.

Microcart allows you to set customers to insert their website URL that they intended to use the theme on before they can download, expiry date, invoices etc. I see they are quite essential and useful. :)

As for the design, I think that's the problem for the microcart addon users because everyone has different website look. Hmm.

If @Ehren plans to keep xF separate from IP.Board (as far as using IP.Board+Nexus) then something should be done. While microCART may not be the best "store" addon it would serve the purpose needed here. Yeah a little work may be needed to get it looking the way you want it but in the end it would help with sales as it would be fully automated. Plus as @Shyuan mentioned the having to input website URL where theme is being used isn't a bad idea either.

Although, i dont see a new website design, it looks like the default XF skin to me lol

hahhaa yea i realized thats what it was after i posted lol..i do love it though.
