I'm waiting for xenforo 2.x to be honest, at which point I'm very keen to design and release new themes.
I'm definitely interested to see what they've done with the updated theme system. The 1.x version is controlled almost entirely from theme settings which can become tiresome for developers who prefer css, and the layout is very restrictive in terms of modifying the header, so I'm hoping for a more customizable default theme in the future. Fingers crossed!

You're in the customer group though, so it should be working fine. Let me know if you're still having issues..
